Cleveland & Co is pleased to announce the appointment of Cordelia Hughes as Chief Growth Officer. Cordelia brings more than 20 years of senior commercial leadership experience across financial and legal services. Most recently Vice President of Sales at RWS Group, she led a global financial services and legal sector team serving asset managers and institutional clients. She has extensive experience designing and executing international go-to-market strategies, restructuring regional sales teams across EMEA, APAC and North America, leading complex RFP and pricing negotiations, and aligning commercial delivery with operational and legal functions to secure high-value institutional mandates. As Chief Growth Officer, Cordelia will lead Cleveland & Co’s global growth strategy, overseeing client relationship management, strategic account development, and international expansion initiatives. Her mandate includes strengthening executive-level relationships, expanding strategic account coverage, building scalable client acquisition frameworks, and accelerating growth across institutional markets. Cordelia’s appointment reflects Cleveland & Co’s commitment to disciplined, sustainable expansion and to operating at the highest levels of commercial and sector leadership. Cleveland & Co Appoints Caroline Donald as Deputy General Counsel and Head of Public Markets
Cleveland & Co is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Donald as Deputy General Counsel, Head of Public Markets. Caroline brings over 25 years of legal, regulatory, and leadership experience in financial services and investment management, having held senior legal and chief of staff roles at Goldman Sachs, First Sentier and Slaughter and May. Caroline is a trusted advisor to executive leadership, NEDs, and Boards, with particular expertise in contentious regulatory and sensitive HR issues. Caroline is qualified in England & Wales and has advised clients across multiple jurisdictions including Spain, Italy, Ireland, Australia, North America, and Asia Pacific. Her expertise spans all things public funds, hedge funds, derivatives, broker and custodian agreements, fund distribution, remuneration structures, and UK financial services regulation (including FCA Handbook, MiFID II, EMIR, UCITS, SMCR, SYSC, and UK GDPR). In her new role, Caroline will lead Cleveland & Co’s public markets legal team, advising clients on UCITS, ETFs, Separately Managed Accounts, fund distribution and custody, transactions, regulatory strategy and more.
