Promotion is not focussed on length of service, but on your contribution to the firm, your talent and your future potential. Additionally, we don’t offer a traditional partnership structure, because we think it’s much better to have the flexibility to promote team members in more progressive ways. Post qualification, lawyers typically progress from legal counsel, to senior legal counsel, then director and heads of roles, but career progression is not linear and has a strong focus on skill set, competency and building client relationships.

A Global Outlook
Our London and Sydney teams work very closely together, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in work for our Australian clients, as well as building strong ties with colleagues in Sydney. We also offer secondment opportunities between our offices and with plans to open a US office in the near future, you could also be going State side as part of your training contract with us.
