FCA’s SDR deep-dive guide: 1. Investment Labels

In this first of our six deep-dive guides into the FCA’s sustainability disclosure requirements, we’re looking at investment labels. Sustainable investment labels are designations given to investment products that meet certain environmental, social and governance criteria. The FCA has announced three sustainable fund labels as part of the broader anti-greenwashing rule. Our deep-dive guide considers each of the three different labels as well as the FCA’s qualifying criteria for them.

In the coming weeks and months, look out for more in our series of deep-dive guides covering:

  1. Naming and marketing rules;
  2. Consumer facing disclosures;
  3. Product and entity level disclosures;
  4. Anti-greenwashing rule; and
  5. Distributors.

To learn more about the FCA’s SDR, please check out our recent print and keep guide about the proposed SDR, and our one-page table which sets out the key information firms need to know about each of the proposals.
