Consumer Duty – Manufacturer Review Deadline

The next Consumer Duty deadline is quickly approaching. This is a regulatory requirement in the UK that aims to ensure that consumers receive fair treatment from financial services providers.

By 30 April 2023, manufacturers of financial products and services should have completed all the reviews necessary to meet the applicable outcome rules for their existing open products and services. They should also identify any areas where changes need to be made to ensure compliance with the new regulations and meet their obligations under the Duty.

We have created a handy one-page guide that sets out the key points to be aware of, the action required for manufacturers, and how we can assist in ensuring compliance with the upcoming Consumer Duty deadline.
