Cleveland & Co ranked 37th among Europe’s 50 most innovative law firms by the Financial Times

Cleveland & Co is delighted to announce that it has been ranked 37th in the FT Innovative Lawyers law firm index Europe 2026, placing it among the top 50 law firms for innovation. The recognition comes in a highly competitive year, with the programme attracting more than 650 entries from law firms and in-house legal teams across Europe. It marks a significant milestone for Cleveland & Co and a powerful endorsement of its ambition.
As the legal profession reimagines its approach to pricing, client relationships and competition, the index celebrates the firms leading that change across the full breadth of their business. Cleveland & Co is honoured to be counted among them.
The recognition reflects a commitment that has shaped the firm from the outset: a willingness to question how legal services have always been delivered, and the ambition to do things better. It celebrates the firm in its entirety, from the way it works with clients to the culture it has built and the ideas its people bring to their work every day.
Technology supports that ambition, with proprietary platforms designed and built within the firm. It is one part of a much wider picture: a firm that has rethought how legal services are structured, priced, staffed and delivered.
Above all, this achievement belongs to the Cleveland & Co team. Their expertise, creativity and dedication have made this recognition possible, and the firm is immensely grateful for their hard work and contribution.
“We are honoured and delighted to be ranked 37th among Europe’s most innovative law firms by the Financial Times,” said Emma Cleveland, CEO and Global General Counsel of Cleveland & Co. “This is a wonderful moment for our firm and one that every member of our team should be proud of. Innovation, for us, has never been about a single product or project. It is part of who we are and how we work. This distinction belongs to our people, whose creativity, commitment and willingness to challenge convention make it possible. We thank the Financial Times and RSGI for this recognition.”
Cleveland & Co extends its warmest congratulations to all the firms featured in this year’s index.
