Meet the Team: Q&A with Christine Nguyen

As part of our ‘Meet the Team’ series,  we are delighted to feature Christine Nguyen, from our Operations team who celebrates her first anniversary with Cleveland & Co next week! To celebrate Christine’s first year, we sat down to ask her a few questions about her experiences at Cleveland & Co and what she enjoys about her job.

Why did you join Cleveland & Co?

I joined Cleveland & Co because of their reputation for excellence in the legal industry. Their commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused services and their culture of collaboration and innovation resonated with my professional values. I was excited to join a team of talented and dedicated women who share a passion for delivering exceptional results for clients.

What are the best bits of working at Cleveland & Co so far? 

The best bits of working at Cleveland & Co so far have been the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and colleagues, the challenging and stimulating work, and the supportive and collaborative culture. I have had the chance to learn from experienced professionals and to contribute to meaningful projects that have made a real impact. The team at Cleveland & Co is incredibly supportive and encourages a positive work-life balance.

Tell us about your career path.

My career path has been varied and has included experience in operations management, project coordination, and administration. I have a strong background in delivering high-quality services to clients in a range of industries, and I have always been drawn to roles that involve problem-solving and continuous learning.

What do you love most about your job?

I love the opportunity I have to make a real difference to the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of Cleveland & Co. Knowing that my work helps to support and protect the business interests is incredibly rewarding. Additionally, working with a team of talented and dedicated professionals who share my passion for excellence is a real pleasure.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

The best piece of advice I have ever received is to always remain open to new opportunities and to never stop learning. In today’s fast-paced business world, it is essential to remain adaptable and flexible, and to continually seek out new challenges and experiences.

What other role might you have done, if not an Operations Office Assistant?

If I were not an Operations Office Assistant, I would be interested in exploring roles in business development as I feel my strong communication and problem-solving skills would be well-utilised.

Favourite spot in London and why?

My favourite spots in London are the lovely small village high streets such as East Dulwich or Clapham Old town with local coffee, charity and plants, flower shops. I love going to small cafés, taking long walks in the park or going to Columbia flower market or browsing clothing stores in Oxford street.

Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you.

A surprising or fun fact about me is that I am an avid runner and have completed several marathons when I was young. Running is a great way for me to stay fit, clear my mind, and set and achieve personal goals. My favourite spot to run is along the beach.
