Kwan Mei Soh

Kwan Mei Soh joined Cleveland & Co in 2019 in order to support our investment services, real estate investment, private equity funds and general corporate and commercial practices. She brings a wealth of experience and will be key to the firm’s expansion in the APAC region.

Kwan Mei obtained her degree in law from the National University of Singapore and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2008. She has since undertaken a wide range of global-facing work, with four years within the general corporate-commercial space followed by seven years in the investment world (REIT management, sell-side institutional IMAs, representing the investor in exploring direct investments/tie-ups in real estate development and advising IMs in private equity funds).

Kwan Mei works with businesses in the investment management and real estate investment management sectors and therefore understands how they operate. This understanding combined with her legal background and commercial acumen, make her a trusted advisor to her clients and a valuable member of the Cleveland & Co team. When she’s not working across multiple time zones setting the pace for round the clock in-house coverage, Kwan Mei is dedicated to having fun with her pesky children, working on her garden and exploring new places.
